Unexpected

Went on Safari with few expectations, and quickly learned everyone, typically, sees the big five. Some breeds aren't as easy to find like the cheetah in part due to its endangered status and others because they have already migrated. So when we saw a male leopard napping in the crook of a trees' limbs we flipped. We ended the day off roading near Lake Masek and in the amber light before sunset we stumbled across, well I'm sure our guide had something to do with it, a cheetah and her five cubs. We circled around the setting sun before heading to our tented camp lodge where we collapsed after a delicious dinner.
