Solo

Today I embark on my solo journey to Vietnam.  We started out as a group of seven and dwindled to six a few days ago when my friend EM went off to surf the waves in The Maldives and Bali.  The six of us have enjoyed our adventure in Phnom Penh.  My friends will make their way back to Bangkok en route to the US.  I have butterflies in my stomach as I await a van to take to me to a boat where I will travel the Mekong Delta, cross into Vietnam at Chao Doc and continue further into the Delta to Con Tho.  I will miss my friends, the camaraderie, the ease, and the joy of this shared experience.
