The Bradbury Building

The Romanesque Bradbury Building,
named after a mining and real estate millionaire,
was built in the 1890s.
The magical interior rises almost fifty feet
with open cage elevators, marble stairs, and ornate iron railings.
If has been featured in several iconic movies.
Last night, the atrium was filled with the sound of brass horns.
The internationally award winning Spanish Brass quintet
performed Christmas songs in the gilded Victorian court.
The arrangements were playful and the acoustics flawless.
After the concert,
a rainy walk to Clifton's
for more holiday cheer and hipster cafeteria food.
