The David Wright House

A previously unknown work by one of America's greatest architects was purchased by a developer who intends to bulldoze it this week.  This spiral structure, constructed for Wright's son David and his wife Gladys, predates The Guggenheim.  Makes me wish I had some extra cash hidden in the floorboards.  Someone needs to call Brad Pitt.  Seriously, this would be a lovely gift for Angelina and, most importantly, a way to preserve a landmark.  This is a crime.  Read the NY Times article here.
