Prior to leaving LA, I was already pining for the blooming Jacaranda trees, and the desert buds I would miss this season. Foolish me, focusing on the void instead of embracing the newness ahead of me. The dogwoods, a favorite since childhood, are peppered through out Atlanta bursting with white and pink petals. They are absolutely spectacular and a reminder to look ahead with adventure, instead of peering in the review mirror with apprehension and regret.
